Each of these is a map of how a real system actually works: what the parts are, what flows into what, who owns and regulates each step, and where the whole thing leans on a handful of players with no substitute. Every node, flow and figure traces to a document you can open, and anything I looked for and could not find is recorded as a gap rather than guessed.
The UK electricity grid
The transmission system mapped as a supply chain and as an institution, from raw materials through to the customer. Every node and flow exists because a primary document says so.
48 nodes, 58 flows, 1,347 facts drawn from 232 primary sources. 405 recorded gaps. State at 12 September 2026.
